چکیده

A four-port wideband cavity-backed antenna is presented for indoor base stations applications. The composed of a square open cavity with an X-shaped isolating block and 4 feeding monopoles symmetrically orthogonally arranged in the aperture cavity. novel methodology based on Characteristic Modes Analysis (CMA) used identifying modes which are contributing to coupling. As result this analysis, placed at center proposed increasing isolation between ports. wide-band unidirectional radiation patterns obtained measured impedance bandwidth ( S 11 <; -10 dB) ranging from 1.55 6 GHz (118%), covering most sub-6 5G bands. provides four independent patterns, 16 dB minimum ports efficiency higher than 84%. Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) compatibility confirmed 4×4 MIMO simulated system envelope correlation coefficient (ECC)<; 0.5 different propagation conditions. easy fabricate presents compact size 129.5×129.5 ×28.2 mm 3 0.68?×0.68?×0.15?, frequency f = xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">min GHz). Moreover, has advantage avoiding complex structures baluns or directional couplers.
